Barney Frank, Barney Frank, Barney Frank. Is this fre akin guy kidding me? Is there a competition between this clown and the President to see who can be on TV more often. I am sick of watching this degenerate in congressional hearings , and CNBC and all these other news shows spitting and sputtering about how he is rescuing the economy and the American people. Give me a break! Sylvester here is probably more responsible than any other single person for this economic mess we are in. As if that weren’t enough, now old Sylvester here is introducing new legislation in Congress, the Pay for Performance Act of 2009. This bill would impose government control of the pay for all employees, not just executives for any company receiving government money. Apparently he wants Turbo Tax Tim Geithner to monitor everyone’s pay to make sure no one is receiving too much. So the same guy that couldn’t figure out Turbo Tax is going to be given even more power to determine what pay is fair for everyone. Can you see where this is going? First it’s the executive bonuses at AIG, then the executives of any company receiving TARP money, and then its all employees who receive any government assistance. It doesn’t take much imagination to see that the next step is government monitoring of all salaries and incomes regardless of whether your company got government assistance or not. These people want to control everything. How do we all stand by while people who should probably be locked up, get away with imposing these unconstitutional acts on us?

Many have wondered why the U.S. Civil War was so bloody and lasted longer than anyone would have predicted. President Lincoln, in his second inaugural address, wondered if the bloodshed was a punishment for slavery: “Yet, if God wills that it continue, until all the wealth piled by the bond-man’s two hundred and fifty years of unrequited toil shall be sunk, and until every drop of blood drawn with the lash, shall be paid by another drawn with the sword, as was said three thousand years ago, so still it must be said ‘the judgments of the Lord, are true and righteous altogether.’” What would make us think that this country could allow the killing of 50 million unborn babies and still continue our affluent lifestyle?
This is the single most important issue in the United States right now; this is also why the Left was so threatened by Sarah Palin. She not only believes in life, but her youngest son is a constant reminder of an issue that most want to sweep under the rug. Either we believe that 50 million babies have been killed or we do not; there is no room for neutrality or “moderation.” I do not care to live in a country that will be “a little less pro-abortion” or “a little less socialist.” We are talking about the lives of babies-what is extremist about that? Why should we feel the need to shy away from holding that position?

I couldn’t make this one up if I tried. The US government has created an online emotional rescue site for people feeling sadness due to financial stress. Mwahhh, another Statist program furthering the pussification of America.
You need not feel depressed or suicidal. Great benefactor offers you an online shoulder to cry on. The site supposedly raises warning flags for persistent crying and sadness (yeah, every time I turn my TV on to watch a show and see my president doing another infomercial), excessive anxiety and bedwetting. Any warning flags for loss of balls syndrome?
If you think this is a joke check out www.samhsa.gov/economy after midnight Monday. This must be our central government’s way of giving us a virtual kiss after the act.

Word has it that there is growing discord in the White House between The One and The Queen never to be crowned. It began when all things as we knew them underwent a name change. Two of the latest rebrandings were the “global war on terror” which is now the “Overseas Contingency Operation” and the term “terrorist acts” which must be referred to as “Man Caused Disasters.”
Apparently Her Royal Thighness, Secretary of State Mrs. Bill Clinton is asking the president to rename her cabinet position to Czar of State. We’ve had Drug Czars, Education Czars, a War Czar and even a Car Czar. So Why not a State Czar? And who better to take a title derived from a Russian word meaning Ceasar, emperor than the woman who would never be crowned?

I’m starting to feel like I’m watching a movie about a government takeover by some totalitarian regime. You have the smooth talking leader who drums up the support of the ignorant masses by promising them everything they want to hear. You have his inner circle and most trusted advisers made up of schemers, con men, criminals and nasty ballet dancers. You have a Legislative body made up of career politicians whose only goal is to remain that way. And you have a media which seems to be totally controlled by these same leaders. We get promises of an end to politics as usual, but when these promises are broken we only hear “well we must give them a chance”. We have public hearings to tar and feather corporate executives who use private jets only to see the Speaker of the House have military jets available for her beckon call. We have politicians calling for public lynchings of private citizens because they make too much money. Yet here is the President travelling to London with a staff of 500, several aircraft, medical staff, kitchen staff, and who knows what else.
It seems to me there is a double standard going on here. On one hand we have our government officials telling us that it isn’t right for these companies receiving public funds to be spending the “people’s money” unwisely. But at the same time, these same government officials treat the “people’s money” as their own, spending it as they see fit. We have government officials taking over private corporations because as Turbo Tax Tim says, the market can’t fix things on its own. So now we have government run banks and government run auto companies to go along with our government run education system. Next up is government run health care, then government run energy until we get to the point where government runs everything.
I’ve seen this movie before and I don’t like the way it ends. It ends up with a leveling out of wealth and incomes, government control of all business, and government control of the lives of all the people. All the while the government officials themselves live like kings and queens off the hard work of all the working class people who become poorer by the day. In fact I’ve seen several versions of this movie and they all end badly.
Fortunately this movie has just started so it’s not too late to turn it off.

Amendment I, the very first words of the Bill of Rights are “Congress shall make no law.” In the First Amendment there are six separate limits to the power of Congress.
Amendment II, again limitations of government, this time to not infringe on the rights of the people to bear arms.
Amendment III, alludes to the rights of the “homeowner.”
Amendment IV, protecting the individual against government’s reach.
Amendment V, the rights of the individual are protected at least five times.
Amendment VI, this one protects the individual’s rights seven times.
See where this is going yet? Let’s jump to the final Amendment of the Bill of Rights, number Ten. Lately old number 10 has been the most abused.
Amendment X: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
Note how far and how many times the framers of our Constitution sought to limit the scope of government and its intrusion into the lives of the individual. How do the members of Congress and our President even look at themselves in a mirror every morning? Had they been around when this document was being written they would have been dressed in red coats and working for King George III.

This is exactly what we need, the federal government trying to run an failing automobile manufacturer. They do such a good job running the government so I guess they have the ability to turn around GM. And Obama, with all of his experience as a community organizer, is perfectly suited to be the man with a plan. He’s probably bought three or four cars in his life so he should be good with a restructure plan. So he has demanded that the GM CEO step down so that he can decide the future course of the company and the industry as a whole. Has he ever even taken a business class? When’s this crap going to end? The UN Human Rights Council passed a resolution calling for an end to criticism of religion around the world. What the council of thugs really means is an end to criticism of the cult, known as Islam.
Where exactly is the line to be drawn between criticism and factual reporting. For instance, am I being critical if I state that Islamic terrorists have committed 12,948 deadly attacks since September 11, 2001? Is it criticism if I add that between March 14 and March 20 of this year there were 33 Jihad attacks, 100 killed and 130 critically injured in the name of Islam? What if I report Jihad attacks like baseball box scores? This week Mohammed al-Sayed, playing for the Pakistan Prayer Rugs went seven for twenty from the blow up box, with four sacrificed bodies. While in the Sunni Division Khalid Aziz finished the week with a bang going six for 18 for the Jihad Bombers.
Here are just a few of the wonderful things done in the name of “you know what religion” just in the past two months:
- March 26 Thailand: Muslims shoot a 46 year old Buddhist woman, then sets her on fire.
- March 26 Pakistan: A suicide bomber detonates at a restaurant killing 11 and injuring 25.
- March 25 Afghanistan: Ten civilians, including women and children are blown to bits in a bus.
- March 24 India: A 16 year old girl is burned alive by Muslim moral police over a suspected affair.
- March 23 Iraq: A suicide bomber attacks a funeral killing 24 mourners and injuring 28 more.
- March 19 Somalia: An aid worker is gunned down by Islamic assassins.
- March 15 Yemen: Four Korean tourists and a local are gunned down by fundamentalist bombers.
- March 15 UK: A Christian minister critical of Islam is brutally beaten by local Muslims.
- March 8 Algeria: A policeman is shot then set on fire by Islamic fundamentalists.*
The list goes on and on and I hardly even scratched the surface for the month of March. Imagine the followers of any other religion committing these atrocities. Stories about it would be played on the news all day long for a month. The NY Times and every other paper in the world would have it plastered on the front page for weeks. If any other religion condoned this nonsense it would be condemned throughout the world, and rightfully so. Yet, when these heinous acts are committed in the name of Islam the world accepts it as just another ho-hum day. Has the world become that cowardly? For the UN Human Rights Council to come out with this sham resolution is insulting to every peaceful religion on the planet. That would be just about every religion other than Islam.

What a surprise. Another crooked member of the Obama administration. This is getting boring. So boring that no one is even paying attention anymore. We now know that Emanuel, during his very short stint on the Board of Directors of Freddie Mac sucked out somewhere between $320,000 and $570,000 for attending about 6 meetings over a 14 month period at which he did nothing but sanction widespread corruption. During this time, The Smug One watched over accounting scandals and other improprieties at Freddie Mac which preceded its collapse and led to the federal government pumping in billions of taxpayer dollars. This scandal also led to hundreds of millions of dollars in fines and legal settlements. These accounting irregularities and other misdoings were for the primary intent of preserving huge annual bonuses for the senior staff at Freddie.
This is all true folks.
Yet no one is outraged by these bonuses. No one is asking Emanuel to return the money he basically stole. No one is talking about a 90% tax on any of this money. No one is even talking.
