How did we ever survive without newscaster/troll, Andrea Mitchell around to tell us what’s good for us? You have to wonder what makes these arrogant elitists think they are so much more enlightened than us common folk.

Sen. Christopher Dodd, D-Conn., has been diagnosed with early-stage prostate cancer. Dodd, chairman of the Senate Banking Committee has been a big proponent of the Democrat government health care plan. And why not? Unlike you or me, Dodd and the rest of Congress will be exempt from the government plan. They will maintain their current plan.

“This diagnosis is very common among men my age,” Dodd said. “Luckily, a routine test allowed my doctor to catch it at a very early stage, and my prognosis is excellent — we expect a full and speedy recovery.” That’s great for Chris Dodd. But for us, what happens when rationing of services becomes a factor? Dodd contacted a specialist who was able to see him right away. We won’t have that same luxury. Look at countries with socialized medicine. Waiting times can take several months, not weeks or days. And that’s just for diagnosis and consultation. Add some more months waiting for treatment and will we be able to expect a full and speedy recovery?

Ted Kennedy is another hypocrite. Does anyone believe that the treatments he is undergoing for brain cancer will be available to every 77 year-old male with an overtaxed liver? No way. Take the red or blue pill instead.

For Dodd the odds of beating this form of cancer are excellent. In fact, if all goes well for him he should be back in office in a few weeks, trying to force a health plan on you that would not offer you the same chances of survival. It makes you wonder, do men like Dodd have any shame?

Remember when Mein Fuhrer recently invited everyone in Congress to visit him at the White House after the August break to review the health care bill “line by line” to make sure they understand every provision in the bill?

Well thank God for Tennessee Congressman Phil Roe.  Roe, a former medical doctor, actually called this bluff and is taking Obama up on his offer.  He sent a letter to Obama today asking to come to the White House to review the bill with him line by line.  How will Obama save face on this one?  He’d better hurry up and read the darn thing.

According to The Hill, the Blue Dog Democrats have struck a major deal with House Leaders on the HealthCare legislation. These 7 “Blue Dogs” are patting themselves on the back because they got the House leadership to cut 100 billion from the total estimate. They also claimed victory because they were able to postpone the vote on the bill until after the August recess so that members could read the bill and talk to their constituents. Huh? 

First of all what the hell is a blue dog and where did that name come from? Do these people like being called blue dogs? If any of them are women is that then considered an insulting reference to her looks? Secondly, how sad is the state of politics that it is now considered a major victory that legislators will get an opportunity to read a bill before voting on it. Lastly, 100 billion reduction? Really? Isn’t that like throwing a deck chair off the Queen Mary?  These numbers are based on ridiculous estimates anyway just take a look at the 36 trillion deficit that medicare runs and what do you think the real numbers will look like when everyone is on a nationalized plan. 

We have a month where we can inundate our representatives and all representatives for that matter to vote against this debacle. Let them know that nationalized healthcare is not what we want.

After about a week after the start up of the Cash for Clunkers program (aka- “The Using My Money to Help People Buy New Cars” program), the government has announced that it is terminating the program.  They pulled together some of the smartest people in the administration to study the program to date and guess what they discovered?  And before I tell you I have to admit that these people must be brilliant because I never would have figured this out.  Anyway, here’s what they discovered:

Holy cow, thank goodness that we have some of the best financial minds in Washington working on this stuff. 

Here’s my idea – Forget about retiring old cars.  How about a cash for clunkers program for retiring some (or all) of the idiots in Washington that are making these new laws?  I would be very happy to have my tax dollars used to retire Pelosi, Reid, Boxer, Fife……….

Code Pink’s Miss July 2009

Dozens of women things in bikinis protested near Washington cosmetics stores against the purchase of Ahava beauty products, that are produced in the Israeli settlement of Mitzpe Shalem in the West Bank.

The protest was led by none other than the Code Pink anti-war movement, and the demonstrators’ bodies were streaked with mud, some featuring the words “Ahava is a dirty business”.

Code Pink alleges that the Israeli cosmetics company that promises to share the “beauty secrets from the Dead Sea” is also “hiding the ugly truth—its products actually come from stolen Palestinian natural resources in the occupied territory of the Palestinian West Bank, and are produced in the illegal settlement of Mitzpe Shalem.”

“We are here to tell Ahava, which claims to be devoted to beauty and purity, that you cannot cover up occupation and violation of international law,” said Paris Marron, Code Pink’s national online organizer. “We call on Ahava to come clean.”

Well now, I am here to say that:

1) Code Pink women are ugly skanks.

2) The occupied area should remain occupied.

3) There is no Palestine and the “Palestinian” people are pretty much rejects that no other Arab country will take in.

4) Code Pink women ought to try bathing once in a while.

“It’s almost immoral what they are doing.” “They are the villains. They have been part of the problem in a major way.” This is what  Uber-Bitch Speaker of the House Pelosi had to say about insurance companies getting in the way of her march toward government health care and a single-payer system.

In the socialist mind of plastic puss Pelosi any company that tries to make a profit by offering a service that people need or desire is somehow villainous. This woman cannot stop herself from assaulting capitalism and free markets. She can’t bring herself to criticize our enemies, but she has no problem going after the insurance industry with unrelenting, scathing rhetoric.

Do you notice the pattern here? Last week King O called doctors and pharmaceutical companies greedy. Earlier this week Barney’s Frank threatened bankers and mortgage companies. At the beginning of the year they all attacked the CEOs of the auto industry. Yet these leftists refuse to use rhetoric this harsh on Muslim extremists or despotic regimes.

At some point this abuse of power needs to be squashed. And it better start happening real soon.

“Jose IL-legal” also works in construction, has “NO” Social Security Number, and gets paid $15.00 cash per hour “under the table,” therefore no payroll tax deduction.

Joe Legal…$25.00 per hour x 40 hours = $1000.00 per week, or $52,000 per year.  After taking 30% away for state federal tax, Joe Legal now has $31,231.00 left.

Jose IL-legal…$15.00 per hour x 40 hours = $600.00 per week, or $31,200.00 per year.  Now Jose IL-legal pays no taxes…so Jose IL-legal still has $31,200.00 left.

Joe Legal pays Medical and Dental Insurance with limited coverage e that cost him $1000.00 per month, or $12,000.00 per year. Joe Legal now has $19,231.00 left per year.

Jose IL-legal has full Medical and Dental coverage furnished by state and local clinics at a cost of $0.00 per year to him, so Jose IL-legal still has $31,200.00 left per year.

Joe Legal makes too much money to be eligible for Food Stamps or welfare so Joe Legal pays $1,000.00 per month for food or $12,000.00 per year. Joe Legal now has $ 7,231.00 left for the year.

Jose IL-legal has no documented income and is eligible for Food Stamps and Welfare. Jose IL-legal still has $31,200.00 left for the year.

Joe Legal also has to pay rent of $1,000.00 per month or $12,000.00 per year. Joe Legal is now in the hole minus (-) $4,769.00.

Jose IL-legal also has to pay rent of $1,000.00 per month, but receives a $500 per month Federal rent subsidy. So Jose IL-legal actually only pays rent of $500 .00 per month or $6,000.00 per year. Jose IL-legal still has $25,200.00 left for the year.

Joe Legal now works overtime on Saturdays or gets a part time job after work to try and meet his obligations.

Joe Legal and Jose IL-legal both enjoy the same Police and Fire Services, but Joe paid for them with his taxes and Jose did not pay.

If this doesn’t convince you to NOT vote for any politician or bill that supports illegal aliens, then I’m afraid there is nothing anyone could do or say to convince you otherwise.
