You’ll be shocked to learn that the challenge will be coming from the city of Hope n’ Change, Chicago. I’m no constitutional lawyer, but I don’t remember seeing any asterisks after the Second Amendment claiming that it is a sometimes constitutional right. It makes no difference where the claim is coming from, city, state or federal. The right of the people to bear Arms shall not be infringed. There is nothing ambiguous about that. The right to free exercise of speech or the right to a speedy public trial isn’t left to cities or states to decide when it’s convenient for them. It’s time they gave equal respect to the right of someone to protect themselves and their families from harm. There is something very wrong about unionizing when the taxpayers are paying your salary. The American Spectator has a good article about unions and you tax paying robber barons.
Only an idiot would believe that the government can add 30-46 million uninsured people to insurance plans without raising costs or reducing benefits. The thought of this being deficit neutral defies all logic. Where exactly would the money to cover this scheme come from? For you Hopers out there the response will naturally be from the government. But most grownups realize that government has no money. In order for it to pay for things it must confiscate wealth from people who have earned it. What’s worse is we are already broke. It’s especially frustrating listening to supposedly intelligent people trying to defend this completely flawed and illogical scheme. Enter Nancy Pelosi. Does anyone understand what the heck she was talking about at yesterday’s meeting? All I saw were those flapping old arms waving all over the place and an incoherent rant about job creation. Did she walk in the wrong door, thinking she was at a Jobs Summit? One of the humorous moments of the Health Care Summit came when Crazy Joe Biden opened his mouth. The President’s insurance policy can usually be counted on for some off the cuff buffoonery. Joe was caught on an open mike and said “It’s easy being Vice President. You don’t have to do anything.” And that’s a good thing. It was a little weird seeing a United States President acting as a debate moderator. To me there’s nothing Presidential in acting that role. Plus, it was also further proof that the whole Summit was a charade. Next time we discuss illegal immigration and border control let Sheriff Joe and the Minutemen moderate that debate. There is no difference. Has anyone ever heard of the White House Middle Class Task Force? I didn’t know there was one. Isn’t it great the way the White House comes up with these cute little task forces? Here’s how insignificant it is. The man who doesn’t do anything is addressing it it today. It gets even better. The topic Hair Plugs is going to discuss is retirement security. Here’s an idea, Joe. Why don’t you and your boss stop looting from people who actually earn a living and maybe they’ll be able to retire some day? At the rate you people are moving no one other than government employees will ever be able to retire. Twenty-five years ago these lies would never have been picked up on. We’d have to leave them to people like Dan Rather to expose. Riiiiiiiiiiight.
Here’s news. The massive health care bill that Democrats are attempting to shove down your throats is a jobs bill as well. That’s what Speaker Plastic Puss had to say at today’s health care charade. I’ll bet you didn’t know this but it will create 400,000 new jobs immediately. Are these “shovel ready” jobs? If they are, this time it will be for grave diggers ready to plant senior citizens denied medical procedures. She’s a freakin’ a moron.

This is so absurd it’s laughable. What would make anyone believe that Chairman Obama is a socialist? He seems like a regular Milton Friedman type to me.
In any other sector of the job market this failed waste of ugly human flesh would find herself jobless and out on the street. But in Washington she retains her position as House Speaker. There’s more. Seventy percent of voters say Congress has not passed ANY legislation that would significantly improve life for Americans. That’s not what Obama says. He tells us every day, five times a day, that he’s saved us from Armageddon, created or saved 300 million jobs, and he’ll repair GM cars on the White House lawn. It appears as though no one is buying this line of crap. Except the liars who are feeding us these lies. Face it, grandma’s days are numbered. Clearly this woman, like the President, is in way over her head and has no capacity to lead a gardening club, let alone Congress. There is a high stakes race going on in this country. By the end of 2010 there will be a gigantic shift in political leadership. The only question is just how much permanent damage can the freaks and clowns currently running the country do in that short amount of time? |
