Embrace the Failure
I find David Axelrod to be a rather loathsome slug. In a conversation with journalists, Obama’s chief political strategist, accused the GOP of “rooting for failure.”
Speaking about the GOP, he ranted that “They didn’t pay enough of a price for what was a determined strategy not to work with us.” Now, “they either work with us or they have to pay the price for working against us.”
I choose the the latter. After all, it appears to be working quite well. One only needs to look at the new Change on the political landscape. Let Axelrod threaten the party of those who actually wish to take care of themselves, without interference from the far-reaching arm of the imperial federal government. He can do his best by claiming Republicans have been obstructionists. But the simple fact is the Democrats had a filibuster-proof Senate for a year. They didn’t need any help from Republicans.
Standing against Obama’s overreaching plan to turn this country into Cuba North has been a pretty good strategy thus far. Recent election results confirm that. Bipartisanship with this administration was tossed out the day he was elected. The House Speaker and Senate Majority Leader made that very clear. And secret meetings behind locked doors certainly don’t speak well for bipartisanship.
So I look forward to paying the price for working against Axelrod and his slimy party. And he’s right, we are rooting for his failure. The price for his success would be way too costly for the country.

A chance to do what? Destroy the rest of the country
Rooting against the president is like rooting against the country. Give the president a chance.
