What will it take to convince the Global Warming doomsday fanatics to leave us alone? Half the country is freezing. Washington and most of the east coast are covered in a blanket of snow. The Climategate scandal keeps getting uglier. And the Copenhagen summit was a big fraud and a bust.

Rajendra Pachauri, the chairman of the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, proved himself to be another carbon hypocrite. This is a schmuck who goes around telling people to eat less meat, pay aviation taxes and even ban giving iced water in restaurants. But Pachauri traveled more than half a million miles in the air and produced 121.1 tons of carbon dioxide, according to calculations by ClimateCare, a carbon offset provider. Pachauri also made a horse’s ass of himself after he perpetuated the bogus study results in Himalayagate.

Not to be outdone by all this asinine liberal group think, DHS Chief Janet Napolitano just released a 108-page report to Congress about the threat of global climate change that can open the United States to disruptions and manipulations in energy supplies and to changes in our natural environment on an unprecedented scale. That a girl Janet. Ignore maniacal religious fanatics who are telling you that they want to destroy my country. But waste time and money doing reports on an unproven theory. Why not go after potential alien threats from another galaxy? Didn’t she watch War of the Worlds? Besides, if the administration had any serious concerns about energy independence we’d be stepping up drilling off our coastlines. Maybe Napolitano should consider doing something useful for a change, like a report on how we should secure the borders instead.

If the agenda was to keep the planet clean, get rid of pollution, make energy cheaper and make us energy independent most people would get on board. But no one believes those are the motives.

Here’s what you have to look forward to. This cold weather pattern that we are currently seeing may last for another ten years. At about year number eight the doomsday idiots will be hollering about the arrival of the next ice age, caused by man of course. At that point be sure to run to the store and load up with suntan lotion, sun glasses and shorts. They will be wrong again.
