This cartoon was in the Chicago Tribune in 1934, look carefully at the plan of action in the lower left hand corner.

While private sector jobs are languishing there’s been a boom in public sector jobs (jobs you are paying for). These public sector jobs have not only grown, but the  compensation has far outpaced jobs from the private sector. New Jersey’s Governor Christie understands that this failed approach is partially responsible for the Garden State’s march toward bankruptcy; and he’s attempting to do something about it.

We Have No Choice

California Federal District Court Judge Roger T. Benitez ruled late Friday that the Poway Unified School District in San Diego violated math teacher Bradley Johnson’s constitutional rights. Johnson’s heinous crime, displaying two patriotic banners from the walls of his classroom that “overemphasized” God. It gets worse. The two banners were excerpts from the Declaration of Independence, God bless America and the Pledge of Allegiance.

WTF? Californians must be proud of the Poway Unified School district. One school official justified the ban by claiming a Muslim student might be offended by the slogans.” Not for nothing but I really couldn’t give a shit about some imaginary Muslim who might be offended seeing my country’s Declaration of Independence. If he doesn’t like it he can go somewhere, pound sand and live under Sharia law.

While the district tried to remove Mr. Johnson’s  banners, it allowed 35 to 40 foot string of Tibetan prayer flags with images of Buddha; a poster with the lyrics from John Lennon’s song “Imagine,” which starts off, Imagine there’s no Heaven; a poster with Hindu leader Mahatma Gandhi’s “7 Social Sins;” a poster of Muslim leader Malcolm X, and a poster of Buddhist leader Dali Lama.

This is more reason to shut down the Federal Department of Education. Meanwhile, your tax dollars are being used to fund these slimy schools.

Congratulations Dingy Harry. Next month you celebrate 72,000 jobs lost or destroyed.

Politico is reporting that Schmuck Schumer and other Senate Democrats have the knickers in a twist because almost 80% of the $2 billion in clean-energy grants from the stimulus bill have gone to foreign companies.

The “well thought out” bill is projected to save or create 3,000 jobs in CHINA!

How many outsourced jobs will ObamaCare create in Pakistan? Or is it Pockyston? This crap keeps getting better every day. What else can we entrust to a bunch of incompetent buffoons?

The Weekly Standard is reporting that Rep. Jim Matheson’s brother, Scott Matheson will be nominated to the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Rep. Matheson of Utah, who voted against ObamaCare in November, is one of ten Congressmen who will be visiting the White House tonight so that Barack Capone can convince them to vote for his scheme. More sleaze and corruption.

Kentucky Senator Jim Bunning is being excoriated for blocking a bill that would have extended federal reimbursements to states for highway programs that will now be halted. Two thousand highway workers will be furloughed, and the Obama Kremlin is blaming the Kentucky senator.

Now, here’s what’s really happening. Congress is supposed to be acting under its newly reinstated PAYGO provisions, which the Organizer signed February 12. Under PAYGO Congress is required to find offsets (reduced spending or increased taxes) to pay for any new spending legislation. Now Congress wants to exempt this bill, which so happens to be the first under PAYGO. Remember, Congress and the Organizer were big proponents of PAYGO. Until it actually had to be put into effect.
